Celebrate NYE in Wimberley!

Downtown Wimberley New Year’s Eve Ball Drop!


Ring in the New Year Wimberley-style with a full day of live music, community celebration, and our Family-Friendly Ball Drop at 7pm—perfect for all ages to enjoy before bedtime, dinner, or evening plans.


Join us in the heart of downtown! Bring a chair, stroll between shops and restaurants, pick up light-up toys for the kids, and enjoy performances from incredible local musicians throughout the day.


KWVH Wimberley Valley Radio will also be live-streaming from downtown throughout the day, adding to the celebration and sharing the excitement with the whole community.


🎶 Live Music Lineup – December 31

  • 11:00am–2:00pm: Laura & Marvin Bottera
  • 2:30–5:30pm: Ace Pepper
  • 6:00–8:00pm: Hill Country Honeys
     

⭐ 7:00 PM Family-Friendly Ball Drop


Look to the sky as our New Year’s Eve Ball rises above downtown—approximately 130–150 feet—visible from many areas around town. We’ll count down together at 7pm for an early, all-ages Wimberley New Year’s celebration.


Restaurants and bars across downtown will join in with a coordinated toast, so you can enjoy the moment from your favorite local spot.

🚗 Parking & Getting Around

Public parking is available at:

  • Oak Park
  • The Community Center
  • Designated public lots throughout downtown
     

To ensure pedestrian safety, parking and driving around the Square may be limited beginning at 5pm.


NO road closures, but expect slower vehicle movement and increased foot traffic as we transition into evening festivities.
